PRO Data Analyst
PRO Data Analyst will manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques, explore and unveil insights that impact key business decisions, monitor and investigate new trends in data, working across a wide variety of industries that are important to the global innovation community.
We are looking for a passionate, creative, analytical and experienced data analysts who loves big data, and is curious to explore and unveil insights that impact key business decisions. You will engage with stakeholders and collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers and other data analysts within the Data Intelligence team. To be successful in this role, you must have strong written and oral communications skills, a can-do attitude and the willingness to tackle hard problems in innovative ways. The Ideal Candidates Will Be Responsible For The Following
Monitor, investigate, and report on new trends in data, working across a wide variety of industries that are important to the new data product and service development
Align with business teams to get a good understanding of business processes, how business teams consume data, what are the right data sets and where to find them.
Develop and maintain a data roadmap for achieving data availability, performance and quality objectives.
Manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques
Represent Data Strategy & Services in strategic data initiatives to ensure long term alignment with respect to data consolidation & governance
Define, track and report key metrics to assess overall business / process health
Deliver in depth analysis on business performance (trends, funnels) and drivers, as well as forecasts and targets
Build/design dashboards to enable ongoing monitoring of business health
Work with data engineers to operationalize dashboards and ingest new data sources
Provide actionable insights on new product and servive development
Collaborate with other teams to provide data analytics support for their initiatives
You Should Possess The Following Qualifications
5+ years' of experience working in a similar environment - in data analytics, data mining with proven quantitative orientation
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required
Exceptional problem solving, technical and data analysis skills
Advanced working knowledge of large data manipulation and data mining
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, familiarity with Power BI
Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or dirty data
Advanced Power BI dashboard design & development
Experience with big data technologies such as Azure Data Lake, HD Insight, Spark, Hive, etc.
Understanding of cyber security, cyber defense, insider threat or forensic analysis is a plus
